Casters and Floor Locks
For Trucks
Single Wheel Casters
The 4” diameter single-wheel, 1 1/2” wide, hard rubber casters Swivel mounting caster Rigid base caster
provide ease of use and smooth operation when moving frame
assemblies in a variety of conditions. They are available with self- Floor Locks
lubricating or roller bearing nut-and-bolt axles, with or without
wheel locks. Where a truck assembly must be moved frequently or
ease of mobility under heavy loading is required, it is recommend-
ed to use roller bearing wheels. Positive directional mobility can
be achieved by using a pair of rigid base casters, in combination
with swivel base casters. The swivel base types have two separate
large diameter, ball bearing raceways, while the rigid base types
have heavy embossed legs welded to a heavy top plate. Casters are
not included with a Truck and must be ordered separately. They
are also shipped separately.

mounting brackets for
Floor Locks. The foot operated
locking lever is used to place the spring loaded pressure pad
on the floor and prevent the cabinet assembly from moving.
One floor lock is required for single width trucks, while two
locks should be used with double and triple bay units. The
Floor Locks are zinc plated and are shipped separately com-
plete with all hardware necessary for installation.
Casters
Casters for trucks must be ordered separately. They are
shipped with Trucks but packaged separately to reduce ship-
ping charges. All hardware necessary for attaching Casters to
Trucks is included with the casters. They are not supplied
with wheel locks. Self lubricating casters are rated at 300 lbs
per caster.Roller bearing are rated at 550 lbs per caster.
