Electronic Cabinets, when

When you need incredible strength and flexibility in an elec-
tronics enclosure, you’ll get it in our top-of-the-line Heavy
Duty units.
Heavy Duty easily supports over 3,000 pounds of equipment
with its double ledge, double plane design. The standard model
meets many FCC and EMI/RFI attenuation requirements with-
out gaskets and exceeds shock and vibration tests of MIL-Stds
901 and 810.
For earthquake resistance, Heavy Duty cabinets can be hard-
ened for seismic requirements through Zone 4 and EMI/RFI
applications through TEMPEST levels.
You can be assured that your equipment can be placed in the
most extreme environments without redesign by specifying
Heavy Duty.
Heavy Duty features:
• The strength to hold a 3,000 lb load capacity
• Easy installation of components with our adjustable and
removable panel mounting angles
• Removable doors with simple lift-off hinges
• Positive door latching hardware (not magnetic or velcro
stripping)
• Modular design which supports a large variety of sloped
frames, angular frames, panels, shelves, bases, bus bars and
electrical accessories as standard
Seismic Capabilities
Protect your equipment against earthquake damage with the
addition of our Seismic Hardening Kit. Equipped with the Kit,
Heavy Duty qualifies under the Telcordia (formerly Belcore)
specification for seismic activity. The test simulates earth-
quakes through Zone 4, the most severe level of activity. Test
results are available from our engineering department as
Belcore document TR-EOP-000063 NEBS.
Shielding
Heavy Duty can be shielded to meet FCC through TEMPEST
requirements. FCC requirements can be met with our low cost
metalizing and silver braid gasketing. The most demanding
military TEMPEST requirements are met with stainless steel
frames and double gasketing.
